Do authentic DKNY bags have to have real leather straps?

Hi all do anyone no if authentic designer bags have to have real leather straps?

1. Yes they should do!
2. not necessarily depends on the bag make. If it looks like leather then it should be real though. But my chanel bag the strap is part gold coated chain part patent leather mixed with vinyl and Michael Kors does a lot of chain straps as well. If you're going to pay for a designer bag you should at least get one that's well made, if the materials aren't real then chances are the bag isn't either.
