Designer Computer Bags

Am planning to recycle/salvage old leather bags with paint & modgepodge, any tips?

Does modge podge work on leather? Would you recommend a matte/gloss finish? What kind of sealant would I need to waterproof/prevent cracks on painted/decoupaged bags? Cheap suggestions'll come in, I hope. Thanks!

1. There are many good products on the market specifically for leather and I would use these rather then something like this for your projects. This sounds like a sealer and if the surface of leather is totally sealed it will not have its breathability and will eventually dry and crack.
