What do you recommend to clean leather saddle bags?

Got a set of leather saddle bags that are about eight years old. The only thing I have ever put on them was bees wax. They are in great condition but need a good cleaning and starting to dry out. What do you recommend to condition, clean and soften them up?

1. Use saddle soap and a soft brush on them.Great stuff for anything leather.
2. Saddle soap for cleaning, Doc Bailys for conditioning. Can be found at most bike shops, or leather stores.
