If a company did decorated or different coloured laptop bags would you buy one?

please tell me why you would or wouldn't

1. There is already a market for laptop bags/cases, so I don't see why you couldn't jump into this field.
2. I would buy one depending on the type of fabric, design and color. Girls love to accessorize!
3. Depends on the price, i'm not going to pay over $30 for a laptop bag, when i could just put in a messenger bag...
4. My local PC world store sells different coloured laptop bags at a reasonable price, but I wouldn't buy one as I rarely travel with my laptop - when I do I have very nice shopping bag (that cost 10p) that does the job just as well.

7. Yes, in pink, purple, spongebob, etc!! (but can you make it so it doesn't obviously look like a laptop bag for Securitys sake?)
8. Plenty of companies already do. Crumpler are amazing as their bags are virtually indestrucible and are highly decorated. To beat them a new company would have to create a range which was either comparable or better and that would be no easy feat.

Possibly the younger end of the market, and in particular girls might be interested, but I think the majority of laptop owners are business people who carry laptops around with them and who would probably prefer the smartness of black. Also, colours would draw attention to what you were carrying and therefore more of an invitation to laptop thieves!
10. No, but then I'm guy, straight to boot and a bit of a goth. Is there a market? yes. Doing some crude market research: 1) It's one of the highest searched categories on eBay. 2) Sales of laptops now exceed sales of desktops (millions pa) 3) I saw a Squid on Squidoo, it was all about girly laptop bags and in the top 1% Good luck
